The NSR processor is a general-purpose computer structured as a collection of self-timed blocks. These blocks operate concurrently and cooperate by communicating with other blocks using self-timed communication protocols. The blocks that make up the NSR processor correspond to standard synchronous pipeline stages such as instruction fetch, instruction ...

Natural Gas & Electricity, 2013
AbstractIt should come as no surprise in today's highly regulated world that a permit governing air quality is required before constructing a new natural gas—fired electric‐generating unit. And perhaps it would not surprise many to learn that the same type of permit is needed prior to making significant changes to an existing gas unit.

The NOx storage and reduction (NSR) technology is a demonstrated catalytic strategy for the removal of nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gases emitted by diesel and lean burn engines. The conversion of NOx into N2 occurs through a two-step process which requires a cyclic operation between oxidising and reducing environments.

Abstract Nisin is a lantibiotic produced by Lactococcus lactis (L. lactis), which is active against many Gram-positive bacteria. However, in various pathogenic and nonpathogenic bacteria, the presence of a nisin resistance protein (NSR) confers resistance against nisin. Here, we show that NSR from Streptococcus agalactiae (SaNSR) confers

An effective algorithm to differentiate NSR and Arrhythmia
2018 International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing and Communication (AESPC), 2018Electrocardiography (ECG) is a process of measuring the heart functionality by non-invasively technique. ECG is the main tool used in measuring the heart rate (HR) by analysing the morphology. ECG is plotted graphically, where it has certain threshold to say any ECG wave is normal sinus rhythm (NSR) or arrhythmia Arrhythmia is a hazardous heart ...

The NSR’s Commercial Potential and Restraints
2000When the International Northern Sea Route Programme was established, one of its mandates was to investigate the commercial viability of using the route for trading purposes. Six years down the road and several research papers later, we have built a picture, sometimes comprehensive, sometimes patchy, of how viable the commercial exploitation of the ...

Dangerous Hydrometeorological Phenomena Occurring on the NSR
2019This chapter discusses a number of hydrometeorological phenomena affecting safety of navigation on the NSR. Distinguished phenomena are generally not associated with ice formations. Ice formations include ice massifs and fast ice adjacent to the land. Analysis of phenomena that are not directly related to ice formations, such as very strong winds and ...

On the NSR and GS formulations of twisted strings
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1990Abstract The relationship between the Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond and Green-Schwarz formulations of four-dimensional string theories with twisted, orbifold-like boundary conditions is discussed.
