This paper introduces a hybrid competitive particle swarm optimization (HCPSO) algorithm‐based support vector machine (SVM) model for short‐term forecasting of distributed photovoltaic (PV) power. It utilizes clustering methods for reference site selection and time delay determination, generating optimally correlated PV sequences.
