Scientometric dimensions of nuclear science and technology research in India : a study based on INIS (1970-2002) database [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
This paper attempts to analyse quantitatively the growth and development of Nuclear Science and Technology research in India in terms of publication output as reflected in International Nuclear Information System (INIS) (1970-2002) database.

Compilation of current high energy physics experiments, 1981 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
This is the fourth edition of our compilation of current high energy physics experiments. It is a collaborative effort of the Berkeley Particle Data Group, the SLAC library, and nine participating laboratories: Argonne (ANL), Brookhaven (BNL), CERN, DESY,

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Coherence dynamics in low-energy nuclear fusion

open access: yes, 2022
Low-energy nuclear fusion reactions have been described using a dynami-cal coupled-channels density matrix method, based on the theory of open quantum systems.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Production asymmetry of Ds from 600 GeV/c σ- and π- beam

open access: yes, 2003
The production of Ds- relative to Ds+ as a function of xF with 600 GeV/c Σ- beam is measured in the interval 0.15 < xF < 0.7 by the SELEX (E781) experiment at Fermilab. The integrated charge asymmetries with 600 GeV/c Σ- beam (0.53 ± 0.06) and π- beam (0.

From energy provision to protein synthesis: Tunnelling nanotubes as mediators of intercellular metabolic cooperation in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Measurement of the 52Fe mass via the precise proton-decay energy of 53Com

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The proton decay of 53Com(3174.1 keV; 19/2−) was investigated via the fragmentation of a 58Ni primary beam. The proton-decay energy was determined with an improved precision to be 1558(8) keV.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.
