Studies on `strange' particle production have always occupied a very important space in the domain of Particle Physics. This was and is so, just because of some conjectures about specially abundant or excess production of `strange' particles, at certain ...

Carbon‐free inert anodes are essential for decarbonizing aluminum electrolysis. This study investigates a recyclate‐based MgO‐316L steel composite anode tested under galvanostatic Hall–Héroult conditions in cryolite at 1000°C. Microstructural analysis reveals selective MgO fluorination, spinel and oxide layer formation, electrolyte infiltration, and ...

Removing Oxide Layers and Retaining Oxide‐Free Steel Surfaces by Polishing in Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
In this study, the efficacy of wet mechanical polishing under an oxygen‐free atmosphere for deoxidation and the retention of an oxide‐free steel surface are elucidated using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The methodology proved successful; however, the results were highly dependent on the preparation of the solvents used to clean the samples after ...

The anomalous chiral Lagrangian at order p 8
We derive the order p 8 Lagrangian of odd intrinsic parity for mesonic chiral perturbation theory, and provide the resulting operator basis in the supplementary material.

The ϒ(1S)→Bcρ decay with perturbative QCD approach
With the potential prospects of the ϒ(1S) data samples at the running LHC and upcoming SuperKEKB, the ϒ(1S)→Bcρ weak decay is studied with the pQCD approach.

Assessing Altered Coating Adhesion on Plasma‐Deoxidized Surfaces Under Oxygen‐Free Conditions
This study demonstrates the effectiveness of atmospheric pressure plasma pretreatment in modifying silicon and stainless steel surfaces to improve adhesion. Argon‐hydrogen plasma increases surface roughness and improves adhesion strength, whereas pure argon results in smoother surfaces and structural changes.

Matrix element corrections in top quark decays for the $$t\overline{t}W^{\pm }$$ t t ¯ W ± process
We present a method that allows enabling matrix element corrections (MECs) in Pythia8 with MC@NLO matching, without incurring double counting. MECs are an interesting feature that may contribute to the accuracy of theoretical predictions, alongside ...

Reduced Lagrangians and analytic solutions in Einstein-æther cosmology
We present the solution space of the field equations in the Einstein-æther theory for the case of a FLRW and a locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type III space-time.

EDX elemental map of the pre‐oxidized MgO–steel cermet anode cross section after electrolysis. The development of inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis remains challenging due to the high corrosivity of cryolite‐based melts at 950°C–1000°C. This study investigates the corrosion and process behavior of a carbon‐free MgO–steel cermet anode derived from ...

Bc→BP,BV Decays with the QCD Factorization Approach
We studied the nonleptonic Bc→BP, BV decays with the QCD factorization approach. It is found that the Cabibbo favored processes of Bc→Bsπ, Bsρ, BuK- are the promising decay channels with branching ratio larger than 1%, which should be observed earlier by
