Atomic-scale imaging of a 27-nuclear-spin cluster using a single-spin quantum sensor
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a powerful method for determining the structure of molecules and proteins. While conventional NMR requires averaging over large ensembles, recent progress with single-spin quantum sensors has created the prospect of ...

Proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy unambiguously identifies different neural cell types
Proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy is a noninvasive technique that can provide information on a wide range of metabolites. Marked abnormalities of 1H NMR brain spectra have been reported in patients with neurological disorders, but ...

This work reports the self‐assembly of a pyrene derivative into two distinct nanostructures and their application in visible‐light photocatalysis. The two nanostructures exhibit completely different yet complementary photocatalytic activities, promoting either H2 or H2O2 evolution.

DFT STUDY OF THE TUBULAR SIZE EFFECTS ON THE PROPERTIES OF ZIGZAG BORON NITRIDE NANOTUBES
Density functional theory (DFT) studies were performed on representative zigzag models of boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) with different structural sizes. To achieve minimized-energy structures and their properties, first, optimization calculations were

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

Microtesla NMR J-coupling spectroscopy with an unshielded atomic magnetometer
We present experimental data and theoretical interpretation of NMR spectra of remotely magnetized samples, detected in an unshielded environment by means of a differential atomic magnetometer.

Symmetry Enhanced Unconventional Spin Current Anisotropy in a Collinear Antiferromagnet
Spin‐orbit torques (SOTs) are investigated in epitaxial FeSn, a topological antiferromagnet with kagome lattice symmetry. Combining experimental and theoretical approaches, the study identifies a six‐fold conventional damping‐like spin‐orbit torque (DL SOT), along with the coexistence of both six‐fold and uniaxial unconventional field‐like torque (FL ...

Functional Hydrogel for Modulating Lipid Droplets and Neuroinflammation in Head Injury
After TBI, elevated cholesterol levels in activated microglia lead to the accumulation of cholesterol esters in lipid droplets, exacerbating neuroinflammation. A β‐cyclodextrin‐conjugated GelMA (βCD‐GelMA) hydrogel is developed to promotes cholesterol efflux and reduces LDL influx, thereby alleviating intracellular cholesterol and lipid droplet buildup.

Atomic-like spin noise in solid-state demonstrated with manganese in cadmium telluride
Spin noise spectroscopy is an optical technique which can probe spin resonances non-perturbatively. First applied to atomic vapours, it revealed detailed information about nuclear magnetism and the hyperfine interaction. In solids, this approach has been
