Synthesis and characterization complexes of bis (2-mercaptobenzimidazole) mercury (II) with transition metal (Ni (II), Pd (II), and Pt (II))

open access: yesZanco Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences, 2020
Treatment of 2-Mercaptobenzimidazol (HL) with the mercuric acetate (Hg(OAc)2) give the complex[Hg(L)2] (1). Then the multinuclear complexes of the type [M2Hg2(L)4Cl4] were prepared through the reaction of complex (1) with each of NiCl2.6H2O, PdCl2 and ...

Extremely low-frequency spectroscopy in low-field nuclear magnetic resonance

open access: yes, 2009
We demonstrate a new phenomenon in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, in which nuclear spin transitions are induced by radio frequency irradiation at extremely low frequencies (of the order of a few Hz).

Efficient Multifunctional Response and Polarization Switching in BiFeO3–PbZr0.58Ti0.42O3–MnFe2O4‐Based Triphasic Composites for Advanced Pulsating Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Triphasic BiFeO3–PbZr0.58Ti0.42O3–MnFe2O4 composites exhibit enhanced ferroelectric and magnetic behavior, achieving 70.76% energy‐storage efficiency and improved polarization switching. The coupling between ferroelectric and magnetic phases enables multifunctional performance, making these composites promising candidates for next‐generation energy ...

Proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy unambiguously identifies different neural cell types

open access: yesJournal of Neuroscience, 1993
Proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy is a noninvasive technique that can provide information on a wide range of metabolites. Marked abnormalities of 1H NMR brain spectra have been reported in patients with neurological disorders, but ...

Sustainable Synthesis of Bio‐Based Magnetic and Conductive Wood for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A wood‐based magnetic and conductive material called Magwood (MW), capable of blocking almost 99.99% of electromagnetic waves (in the X‐band frequency range), is synthesized using a simple, solvent‐free process. MW is lightweight, resists water, and is flame‐retardant, making it a promising alternative for shielding electronics. The rapid proliferation

"Analysis of degree of benzene ring hydrogenation in hydrogenating styrene-conjugated diene block copolymer with proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy"

open access: yesHecheng xiangjiao gongye
The microstructure and composition of styrene-conjugated diene block copolymer and its hydrogenation product hydrogenated styrene-conjugated diene block copolymer (HSBC) were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, degree of benzene ring ...

Antifungal azole metabolites: Significance in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Medical Biochemistry, 2009
Individualised therapy and factors determining such variability among patients are confusing to both physicians and their patients because of the observed therapeutic, metabolic and toxic response. The same is true about antifungal azoles. They are under

High resolution spectroscopy of single NV defects coupled with nearby $^{13}$C nuclear spins in diamond

open access: yes, 2012
We report a systematic study of the hyperfine interaction between the electron spin of a single nitrogen-vacancy (NV) defect in diamond and nearby $^{13}$C nuclear spins, by using pulsed electron spin resonance spectroscopy.

Ideal Molecular Sieving with a Dense MOF for Helium Upgrading with Highly Diffusion Selective Mixed Matrix Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.
