Sociocultural Models of Nuclear Deterrence
IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, 2017Through the development of a computational sociocultural model, we demonstrate the potential utility of a rapid-modeling approach for exploring the dynamics of nuclear deterrence. We review the past literature, showing how our model is influenced by both the domestic politics and constructivist paradigm models of nuclear deterrence.

Nuclear modeling techniques and nuclear data
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1988A review of radiation transport techniques, useful in modeling nuclear oil-well logging applications, is presented. These techniques include deterministic and stochastic methods, in addition to sophisticated nuclear databases. Mathematical modeling minimizes design and experiment time and provides information on sensor design, environmental effects ...

Nuclear force in the Skyrme model
Physical Review C, 1987A generalized Skyrme model of the nucleon supplemented by possible extra terms in the Skyrme Lagrangian is applied to the study of the two-nucleon system. A variational approach taking account of modification of the chiral profile is employed. An adiabatic N-N potential is calculated by the standard spin-isospin projection technique.

The Spherical Shell Nuclear Model
Physical Review, 1950Abstract It is found that the spherical shell nuclear model has new energy levels due to the interaction of the vibrations and the rotation. Each vibration level has a series of equally spaced levels belonging to it. The levels of aluminium 28 and silicon 28 are compared with the values predicted by the theory and good agreement is ...
