Neutron capture reaction cross-section of 79Se through the 79Se(d,p) reaction in inverse kinematics

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
γ emission probabilities from unbound states in 78,80Se, populated by a neutron-transfer reaction (d,p) on 77,79Se nuclei in inverse kinematics, were measured by directly detecting reaction residues.

Dynamic study on fusion reactions for $^{40,48}$Ca+$^{90,96}$Zr around Coulomb barrier

open access: yes, 2003
By using the updated improved Quantum Molecular Dynamics model in which a surface-symmetry potential term has been introduced for the first time, the excitation functions for fusion reactions of $^{40,48}$Ca+$^{90,96}$Zr at energies around the Coulomb ...

Thermoelectric Modules Incorporating MgAgSb and Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 Synthesized Using a Melting Method

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable synthesis method for a thermoelectric material of MgAgSb is established. A thermoelectric power module of MgAgSb/Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 is fabricated, showing the conversion efficiency of 7.4% at ΔT = 315 K. The performance is comparable to conventional Bi2Te3 modules when they are operated with an air‐cooled heat exchanger.

Toward a self-consistent and unitary reaction network for big-bang nucleosynthesis

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
Unitarity, the mathematical expression of the conservation of probability in multichannel reactions, is an essential ingredient in the development of accurate nuclear reaction networks appropriate for nucleosynthesis in a variety of environments.

Nuclear reaction cross sections and the optical potentials and for the n-12C and N-12C scattering [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
In this talk we first discuss total cross sections for the system n-12C in the incident energy range 20-500 MeV, calculated with a phenomenological optical potential and the optical model.

Removing Homocoupling Defects in Alkoxy/Alkyl‐PBTTT Enhances Polymer:Fullerene Co‐Crystal Formation and Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Investigation of the effects of nuclear level density parameters on the cross sections for the 234U(γ,f) reaction

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
In this study, we have investigated the effects of nuclear level density parameters on the cross sections for the 234U(γ,f) reaction up to 20 MeV. The cross sections on 234U(γ,f) reaction were calculated for different level density models using the TALYS

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.
