Calculation of (p,γ) and (p,α) nuclear reaction cross sections in stars up to 10 MeV
In Knowledge of the proton-proton (p-p) chain and CNO cycle are required for the evolution of main sequence stars during the early formation of the universe.

Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.

Towards many-body based nuclear reaction modelling
The increasing need for cross sections far from the valley of stability poses a challenge for nuclear reaction models. So far, predictions of cross sections have relied on more or less phenomenological approaches, depending on parameters adjusted to ...

Cross sections of (n, p) nuclear reactions on zirconium isotopes
Cross sections of nuclear reactions 92Zr(n, p)92Y and 94Zr(n, p)94Y were measured in the neutron energy range 13.56 ÷ 14.53 MeV. Measurements have been carried out by neutron activation method. The samples in the form of foils of natural zirconium have been irradiated by DT- neutrons. Instrumental gamma-spectra of activation products have been measured

This work discusses the use of blended channel materials in OECTs. It explores how mixing glycolated and alkoxylated polymers in various ratios offers a simpler and more efficient route to tuning OECT properties. The performance of the polymer blends is compared to the corresponding copolymers, demonstrating similar OECT characteristics, swelling ...

The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

The modeling of the reaction cross sections in the production of teranositic radionuclides
We utilize various nuclear reaction codes with the aim to guide, interpret, and support the experiments in the proton-induced production measurements of radionuclides for the development of innovative radio-pharmaceuticals.

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.
