Concepts of Nucleation in Polymer Crystallization
Nucleation plays a vital role in polymer crystallization, in which chain connectivity and thus the multiple length and time scales make crystal nucleation of polymer chains an interesting but complex subject. Though the topic has been intensively studied

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Nucleation in scale-free networks
We have studied nucleation dynamics of the Ising model in scale-free networks with degree distribution $P(k)\sim k^{-\gamma}$ by using forward flux sampling method, focusing on how the network topology would influence the nucleation rate and pathway. For

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Energy and Technological Aspects of the Combustion of Ionized Gas-Dispersed Systems
This paper discusses the flame ionization effect on the combustion processes in gaseous suspensions of the dispersed fuels. It is shown that the two-phase flame ionization affects almost all the processes of the fuel conversion – kinetics of the ...

Effect of Polyphenols on the Ice-Nucleation Activity of Ultrafine Bubbles
Ultrafine bubbles (UFBs) in water provide a large amount of gas and a large gas–liquid interfacial area, and can release energy through their collapse. Such features may promote ice nucleation.

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.
