The nucleon nucleon interaction

Nuclear Physics A, 1980
Abstract In this session we have 25 contributed papers. Those concerned with the new results of the Basque group (n-p elastic differential and total cross sections in the energy range 210–500 MeV) and of the Geneva group (measurement of correlation parameters in pāˆ’p elastic scattering between 400–600 MeV) were reported on by D. Bugg1).

NUCLEON-NUCLEON INTERACTION IN APPLICATIONS

Nuclear Physics A, 1981
Abstract The accuracy and characteristic results of nuclear-structure calculations, the derivation of the two-nucleon potential and the explicit inclusion of mesonic and internal nucleonic degrees of freedom in nuclear structure are discussed.

Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction

1976
It is the purpose of this talk to give a survey on the present status of understanding of the nucleon-nucleon (N-N) interaction. The main emphasis will be put on the theoretical interpretation of the N-N interaction due to its relation to elementary particle physics phenomena at medium energies with the aim to point out that an understanding of the N-N

Multimeson Resonances and Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction

Physical Review, 1965
Relativistic partial-wave dispersion relations are formulated for elastic nucleon-nucleon scattering. These dispersion relations are integral equations with an inhomogeneous term taken from single-particle exchange contributions. The particles under consideration are $\ensuremath{\pi}(I=1, \mathrm{pseudoscalar})$, $\ensuremath{\eta}(I=0, \mathrm ...

Nonlocal nucleon-nucleon interaction JISP

Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics, 2007
The J-matrix inverse scattering formalism is described and a new type of nucleon-nucleon interaction JISP is constructed within its framework. Interaction for each partial NN scattering is represented by a small matrix in the oscillator basis, which allows its direct use in multiparticle shell-model calculations and in calculations within the ...

Effective nucleon-nucleon interactions

Nuclear Physics A, 1981
Abstract The present status of effective interactions is reviewed. The use of Skyrme interactions in shell model calculations is discussed. A comment is given concerning the strength of the Q-Q interaction.

The Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction

1977
The experimental situation with regard to the nucleon-nucleon interaction is reviewed. Many of the results discussed are not yet published and were presented at the recent Second International Conference on the Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction, held in Vancouver, June 27–30, 1977.

THE NUCLEON-NUCLEON INTERACTION

1972
This chapter discusses the use of NN potentials for nuclear physics calculations that were far from being phase-equivalent. The partial-wave-projections of the theoretical production amplitudes at the various energies gave the absorption coefficients needed for elastic-scattering data analyses.
