Peripheral nucleon-nucleon scattering at fifth order of chiral perturbation theory [PDF]
We present the two- and three-pion exchange contributions to the nucleon-nucleon interaction which occur at next-to-next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N4LO, fifth order) of chiral effective field theory, and calculate nucleon-nucleon scattering in ...

Exploring Dark Photon Production and Kinetic Mixing Constraints in Heavy‐Ion Collisions
ABSTRACT Vector U‐bosons, often referred to as “dark photons,” are potential candidates for mediating dark matter interactions. In this study, we outline a procedure to derive theoretical constraints on the upper bound of the kinetic mixing parameter ϵ2MU$$ {\upvarepsilon}^2\left({M}_U\right) $$ using dilepton data from heavy‐ion from SIS to RHIC ...

Deconstructing triplet nucleon-nucleon scattering
Nucleon-nucleon scattering in spin-triplet channels is analysed within an effective field theory where one-pion exchange is treated nonperturbatively. Justifying this requires the identification of an additional low-energy scale in the strength of that ...

Probing the repulsive core of the nucleon-nucleon interaction via the (4)He(e,e'pN) triple-coincidence reaction. [PDF]
We studied simultaneously the 4He(e,e'p), 4He(e,e'pp), and 4He(e,e'pn) reactions at Q2=2 [GeV/c]2 and xB >1, for a (e,e'p) missing-momentum range of 400 to 830 MeV/c.

Magnetizing Biotech–Advances in (In Vivo) Magnetic Enzyme Immobilization
ABSTRACT Industrial biocatalysis, a multibillion dollar industry, relies on the selectivity and efficacy of enzymes for efficient chemical transformations. However, enzymes, evolutionary adapted to mild biological conditions, often struggle in industrial processes that require harsh reaction conditions, resulting in reduced stability and activity ...

TWO-PION EXCHANGE NUCLEAR POTENTIAL - CHIRAL CANCELLATIONS
We show that chiral symmetry is responsible for large cancellations in the two-pion exchange nucleon-nucleon interaction, which are similar to those occuring in free pion-nucleon scattering.Comment: REVTEX style, 5 pages, 3 PostScrip figures compressed ...

Electron Densities in Jupiter's Upper Ionosphere Inferred From Juno Plasma Wave Observations
Abstract Juno's highly eccentric polar orbit takes it to perijove distances of ∼ ${\sim} $1.06 RJ ${\mathrm{R}}_{J}$ on each orbit. For the first perijove, this occurred just north of the jovigraphic equator, but has precessed north by about a degree per orbit over the mission.

Three-nucleon force effects in proton-deuteron scattering
Possible three-nucleon forces that may be considered in addition to a widely accepted two-pion exchange three-nucleon force are studied to improve the fit to experimental data of proton-deuteron scattering.
