Nucleon-nucleon bremsstrahlung

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1978
The nucleon‐nucleon bremsstrahlung amplitude through order k depends on the NN wavefunction within the strong interaction volume and on the two‐body magnetic dipole moment, both of which are unknown. Meson exchange currents have bee included by several authors to account for parts of the magnetic moment. The wavefunction is of major interest.

Nucleon–nucleon scattering

Physics Today, 1969
DETERMINATION OF THE fundamental law of force between two nucleons has occupied many physicists for the past three decades. Because the proton and electron have obvious similarities (elementarily, spin of 1/2, equal-but opposite electric charge, Fermi statistics, antiparticles) the derivation of a nuclear “Coulomb's law” would seem to be a just reward ...

THE NUCLEON-NUCLEON INTERACTION

1972
This chapter discusses the use of NN potentials for nuclear physics calculations that were far from being phase-equivalent. The partial-wave-projections of the theoretical production amplitudes at the various energies gave the absorption coefficients needed for elastic-scattering data analyses.

Nucleon-Nucleon Bremsstrahlung

1994
One of the most fundamental problems in Nuclear Physics is that of understanding the nuclear force acting between nucleons as well as the limitations implied by eliminating other (subnucleonic) degrees-of-freedom. In principle, the nuclear force should be derived from Quantum Chromodynamics(QCD) which nowadays is believed to be the theory of strong ...

The Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction

2014
The nucleon-nucleon interaction and its description are fundamental not only by themselves, but also as input to more recent attempts to move theoretically into regions of the nuclear chart with three, four, and more-nucleon systems with Faddeev, Faddev-Jakubovski, effective-field theoretical, no-core shell-model, and other “ab initio” methods.

Nucleon nucleon interactions

1990
Shannon's theory is commonly aboarded in the narrow statement of the general communication scheme : signal, noise, ... The entropy formula in statistics is a caracteristic of shannon's theory which is isomorphic to Boltzman formula in physic. It's an important issue in that way this theory is between signal and statistical theory.
