Abstract The connection between entropy and nucleosynthesis is discussed. It is shown that the entropy per baryon is one of three parameters that characterize the end products of any type of nucleosynthesis process. The other two parameters are the neutron richness and the dynamical timescale.

The Primordial Nucleosynthesis
1984The review of the primordial nucleosynthesis presented in the honor of the memory of Mgr Georges Lemaitre is divided in three chapters: in the first one attempts to determine the primordial abundances of the lightest elements which can be formed by the Big Bang nucleosynthesis.
