Bismuth nanosheets integrated with nitrogen‐doped carbon nanoleaves are constructed via a 2D‐on‐2D heterointerface engineering strategy. The resulting BiNS/NCL electrode delivers high chloride adsorption capacity, fast kinetics, and stable cyclability. A built‐in electric field at the heterointerface promotes chloride electrosorption and stabilizes the

Impedance‐Matched High‐Overtone Thickness‐Shear Bulk Acoustic Resonators With Scalable Mode Volume
A bottom‐electrode‐free high‐overtone bulk acoustic resonator is achieved by lateral excitation of antisymmetric thickness‐shear modes on a lithium‐niobate‐on‐silicon platform. Planar electrode geometry eliminates conventional loading along the resonance path and confines acoustic energy within the electrode gap.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A COGNITIVE-ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM BASED ON BEHAVIORAL TECHNOLOGY TECHNIQUES AND BEHAVIORAL ECONOMICS (NUDGING) FOR MODIFYING UNNECESSARY SHOPPING HABITS AND NEGATIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT IN A SAMPLE OF YOUTH [PDF]
The study aimed to establish a theoretical framework for behavioral economics as a new science or branch of economics to clarify its nature, define it, and elucidate the differences between it and traditional classical economics, highlighting as well ...

We can properly call a number of nudges libertarian nudges, but the territory of libertarian nudging is smaller than is often realized. The domain of libertarian nudges is populated by choice-independent nudges, or nudges that only assist the decision ...

Evaluating optimal attentional nudges
People's judgments and decisions often deviate from classical notions of rationality, incurring costs to both themselves and to society. Previous research has proposed that the cost of these biases can be reduced by redesigning decision problems based on

A compact eight‐channel electrically tunable varifocal metalens with three single‐layer polarization‐multiplexed bi‐focal metalens and three LC cells. The total thickness of the device is ∼6 mm, while the focal lengths can be switched among eight values (3.6, 4.2, 4.5, 4.9, 6.2, 6.9, 8.4, and 9.6 mm). ABSTRACT As an essential module of optical systems,

By engineering the molecular order and thickness of PDMS layers, we reconcile the stickiness and slipperiness during bubble transport. AFM measurements and MD simulations further reveal how these nanoscale architectures tune hydrophobic interaction FHB and friction force f.

The nudge – a form of behaviorally-informed regulation that attempts to account for people’s scarce cognitive resources – has been explosively successful at colonizing the regulatory state.

Phase‐resolved experiments and atomistic simulations reveal asynchronous ordering behaviors in a eutectic high‐entropy alloy during isothermal annealing. Distinct defect transport mechanisms are identified in coexisting B2 and BCC phases, showing that vacancy and interstitial mediated diffusion governs phase‐dependent thermal stability.

Backbone‐Length‐Optimized Inhibitors Deliver Long‐Retention Selectivity in Area‐Selective ALD of VO2
Area‐selective VO2 ALD is found to depend critically on inhibitor backbone length, which governs physisorption, chemisorption stability, and packing efficiency in a coupled manner. An intermediate backbone‐length achieves the best long‐retention selectivity, establishing a chemically and geometrically grounded design principle for small‐molecule ...
