Null surfaces of null curves on 3-null cone
Physics Letters A, 2014Abstract The null surfaces of null curves on 3-null cone have the applications in the studying of horizon types. Via the pseudo-scalar product and Frenet equations, the differential geometry of null curves on 3-null cone is obtained. In the local sense, the curvature describes the contact of submanifolds with pseudo-spheres.

On Null Subjects and Null Arguments
Canadian Journal of Linguistics/Revue canadienne de linguistique, 1993In the literature on Null Subject Languages (NSLs) since Rizzi (1982), the three properties that are commonly thought to be connected are (i) the richness of inflectional morphology, (ii) free subject inversion, and (iii) the COMP-trace effect. The connection between them is that if a language (e.g., Italian) has the option of having a null subject (NS)

This chapter introduces the notions of Γ-null and Γₙ-null sets, which are σ-ideals of subsets of a Banach space X. Γ-null set is key for the strongest known general Fréchet differentiability results in Banach spaces, whereas Γₙ-null set presents a new, more refined concept.

Spectral-null codes and null spaces of Hadamard submatrices [PDF]
A code-word \((c_0,\dots,c_{n-1})\) over \(\{-1,+1\}\subseteq\mathbb{R}\) is said to have an \(r\)th order spectral null at zero frequency if \(\sum_{j=0}^{n-1}j^i\cdot c_j=0\) for \(i=0,\dots,{n-1}\). The author considers codes \({\mathcal C}(m,r)\) of length \(2^m\) over \(\{-1,+1\}\) whose codewords have an \(r\)th order spectral null at zero ...

Aronszajn null and Gaussian null sets coincide
Israel Journal of Mathematics, 1999In the study of Gateaux differentiability of Lipschitz maps from separable Banach spaces into various types of spaces several authors have introduced notions of smallness for sets and have proved such functions are differentiable outside of an exceptional small set. The results of this type referenced in the present paper are: \textit{N.

Early Null Subjects and Root Null Subjects*
1994Around the age of 2, children freely drop subjects, irrespective of whether or not the target language is a null subject language. L. Haegeman noticed that the root character of subject drop suggests a topic-drop-type analysis, involving a discourse-bound null operator in the matrix SPEC of C binding a variable in subject position.

Null Functions and Null Sets. The Theorem of Fubini
1998Null functions, i.e. those whose integral is 0 on every set, and null sets, i.e. those whose volume vanishes, are negligible for purposes of integration theory. In particular, countable sets, or lower dimensional subsets of Euclidean spaces are null sets.
