Universal geometric coefficients for the four-punctured sphere (Extended Abstract) [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2015
We construct universal geometric coefficients for the cluster algebra associated to the four-punctured sphere and obtain, as a by-product, the $g$ -vectors of cluster variables. We also construct the rational part of the mutation fan. These constructions

Schild’s null strings in flat and curved backgrounds [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1996
Schild's null (tensionless) strings are discussed in certain flat and curved backgrounds. We find closed, stationary, null strings as natural configurations existing on the horizons of spacetimes which possess such null hypersurfaces. Examples of these are obtained in Schwarzschild and Rindler spacetimes.

On focal curves of null Cartan curves

open access: yesTURKISH JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS, 2017
Summary: The focal curve, which is determined as the locus of centers of osculatingpseudo-spheres of a null Cartan curve, is investigated in Minkowski \((n+2)\)-space \(\mathcal{M}^{n+2}\). Moreover, a curve called \textit{acceleration focal curve} of a null Cartan curve is introduced by using a new family of functions.

On generalized null Mannheim curves in E24

open access: yes, 2021
In the present paper, we introduce the notion of Cartan-framed generalized null Mannheim curves in four-dimensional semi-Euclidean space with index 2, E24.

Spacelike Ac-Slant Curves with Non-Null Principal Normal in Minkowski 3-Space

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2023
In this paper, we define a spacelike ac-slant curve whose scalar product of its acceleration vector and a unit non-null fixed direction is a constant in Minkowski 3-space.

Null Bertrand partner D-curves on spacelike surfaces

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
In this paper, by using the Darboux frame of null curves, we define null Bertrand partner D-curves and present the relations between curvatures of these curves in Minkowski 3-space E13. In addition, we obtain some special results. Finally, by considering

Mannheim Curves in Nonflat 3-Dimensional Space Forms

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2015
We consider the Mannheim curves in nonflat 3-dimensional space forms (Riemannian or Lorentzian) and we give the concept of Mannheim curves. In addition, we investigate the properties of nonnull Mannheim curves and their partner curves.

Singularities of Focal Surfaces of Null Cartan Curves in Minkowski 3-Space

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
Singularities of the focal surfaces and the binormal indicatrix associated with a null Cartan curve will be investigated in Minkowski 3-space. The relationships will be revealed between singularities of the above two subjects and differential geometric ...

POSITION VECTORS OF A PARIALLY NULL AND PSEUDO NULL W-CURVES IN MINKOWSKI SPACE-TIME [PDF]

open access: yesAssiut University Journal of Multidisciplinary Scientific Research, 2018
In this paper, we introduced a position vector of a space-like curve with space-like principal normal vector and null first binormal vector. Also, we introduced a position vector of a space-like curve with space-like first binormal vector and null ...

STRING QUANTIZATION IN CURVED SPACETIMES: NULL STRING APPROACH [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1995
We study quantum strings in strong gravitational fields. The relevant small parameter is [Formula: see text] where Rc is the curvature of the spacetime and T0 is the string tension. Within our systematic expansion we obtain to zeroth-order the null string (string with zero tension), while the first-order correction incorporates the string dynamics. We
