A permutation method for network assembly.
We present a method for assembling directed networks given a prescribed bi-degree (in- and out-degree) sequence. This method utilises permutations of initial adjacency matrix assemblies that conform to the prescribed in-degree sequence, yet violate the ...

Fiedler Vectors and Elongation of Graphs: A Threshold Phenomenon on a Particular Class of Trees
Let $G$ be a graph. Its laplacian matrix $L(G)$ is positive and we consider eigenvectors of its first non-null eigenvalue that are called Fiedler vector.

Shape‐Morphing Nanoengineered Hydrogel Ribbons as Hemostats
This study introduces a self‐assembling, shape‐morphing nanoengineered hydrogel ribbon system that rapidly forms porous aggregates in situ for efficient hemostasis in trauma and surgical applications. Abstract Rapid and effective hemorrhage control remains a major challenge in trauma and surgical care, particularly for complex or noncompressible wounds.

Edge-gracefulness of the composition of paths with null graphs
A graph \(G= (V,E)\) with vertex set \(V\) and edge set \(E\) is said to be a \((p,q)\)-graph if \(|V|= p\) and \(|E|= q\). Given two graphs \(G\) and \(H\), the composition of \(G\) and \(H\), denoted by \(G\circ H\), is the graph with vertex set \(V(G)\times V(H)\) in which \((u_1,v_1)\) is adjacent with \((u_2,v_2)\) if and only if \((u_1,u_2)\in E ...

Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Flow through a nozzle is a common component of most fluid‐based polymer processing techniques such as spray drying, inkjet printing, extrusion. An ultrahigh molecular weight multi‐mechanophore system is used to probe the differences in the distribution of mechanical activation observed between nozzle flow and ultrasonication; the gold standard ...

>0.05 Is Good: The NORD-h Protocol for Several Hypothesis Analysis Based on Known Risks, Costs, and Benefits [PDF]
Statistical testing in medicine is a controversial and commonly misunderstood topic. Despite decades of efforts by renowned associations and international experts, fallacies such as nullism, the magnitude fallacy, and dichotomania are still widespread ...
