On the Null-Homotopy of Bridged Graphs
The author obtains results on graphs which contain no isometric cycles other than triangles. It is shown how each cycle in these graphs can be broken down into chordal pieces.

Temporal Hyperbolic Graphs as Null Models for Brain Dynamics
Null models are crucial for determining the degree of significance when testing hypotheses about brain dynamics modeled as a temporal complex network [7, 12]. The comparison between the hypothesis being tested on empirical data and on the null model enables us to assess the extent to which an apparently remarkable feature of the former can be ...

A Graph Theoretic Approach for Certain Properties of Spectral Null Codes
Yeh and Parhami [6] introduced the concept of the index-permutation graph model, which is an extension of the Cayley graph model and applied it to the systematic development of communication-efficient interconnection networks. Inspiring the concept of building a relationship between an index and a permutation symbol, we make use in this chapter of the ...

Random Graphs with Prescribed K-Core Sequences: A New Null Model for Network Analysis [PDF]
In the analysis of large-scale network data, a fundamental operation is the comparison of observed phenomena to the predictions provided by null models: when we find an interesting structure in a family of real networks, it is important to ask whether ...

Automatic Repair Method for Null Pointer Dereferences Guided by Program Dependency Graph [PDF]
Automatic program repair (APR) is an effective technique for eliminating defects. The repair of null pointer dereferences, as the most common defects, requires accurate dependencies among statements to determine where to repair and how to repair.

Presenting a Scale-Free Complex Network with a Persian Language Layered Composition Pattern [PDF]
Purpose: This article proposes a method for investigating the patterns of composition and topological structure of the Persian language. The enhanced method analyzes Persian text by representing it as a simultaneous network graph within the framework of ...

Tailored graph ensembles as proxies or null models for real networks I: tools for quantifying structure [PDF]
We study the tailoring of structured random graph ensembles to real networks, with the objective of generating precise and practical mathematical tools for quantifying and comparing network topologies macroscopically, beyond the level of degree ...

Optimized null model for protein structure networks. [PDF]
Much attention has recently been given to the statistical significance of topological features observed in biological networks. Here, we consider residue interaction graphs (RIGs) as network representations of protein structures with residues as nodes ...

Energy of Certain Classes of Graphs Determined by Their Laplacian Degree Product Adjacency Spectrum
In this study, we investigate the Laplacian degree product spectrum and corresponding energy of four families of graphs, namely, complete graphs, complete bipartite graphs, friendship graphs, and corona products of 3 and 4 cycles with a null graph.
