Hydroxychloroquine Associated With Lower Glomerular Filtration Rate Decline in Lupus Nephritis
Objective Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) protects kidney function in lupus nephritis (LN) by preventing flares, yet some cohort studies show no significant benefit in kidney function with HCQ. Clarifying these conflicting findings by showing early and long‐term benefits of HCQ on kidney function preservation is critical.

Co‐Occurrence Patterns of Aquatic Macroinvertebrates in Laurentian Great Lakes Coastal Wetlands
In niche‐based community assembly theory, it is presumed that communities in habitats with high natural disturbance regimes are less likely to be structured by competitive mechanisms.

Environmental factors act as drivers of species coexistence or competition. Mesic environments favor the action of parasites and predators on gall communities, while the factors that determine the structure of gall communities in xeric environments ...

Significant Pairwise Co-occurrence Patterns Are Not the Rule in the Majority of Biotic Communities
Our aim was to investigate species co-occurrence patterns in a large number of published biotic communities, in order to document to what extent species associations can be found in presence-absence matrices.

Objective Although treat‐to‐target urate‐lowering therapy (ULT) is endorsed as best practice in gout management, limited data exist on its impact on health‐related quality of life (HRQoL). We assessed the impact of treat‐to‐target ULT on HRQoL among participants receiving protocolized gout care, identifying factors associated with HRQoL and HRQoL ...

Colombian Export Capabilities: Building the Firms-Products Network
In this paper, we analyse the bipartite Colombian firms-products network, throughout a period of five years, from 2010 to 2014. Our analysis depicts a strongly modular system, with several groups of firms specializing in the export of specific categories

Long‐Term Opioids in Gout: A Matched Cohort Study From the Veterans Health Administration
Objective Though used frequently to treat flare, risk of long‐term opioid exposure in gout has not been well defined. In this study, we examined the hypothesis that people with gout are more likely than individuals without gout to be prescribed long‐term opioids over time.

Tree species co‐occurrence patterns change across grains: insights from a subtropical forest
Co‐occurrence is a basic measure of spatial relationships between species. This commonly used measure has many benefits and limitations, yet a basic property that can strongly affect it has been overlooked.

Breaking of the site-bond percolation universality in networks
The stochastic addition of either vertices or connections in a network leads to the observation of the percolation transition, a structural change with the appearance of a connected component encompassing a finite fraction of the system.
