Coupling Selective Organic Oxidation With Hydrogen Evolution Over Metal Halide Perovskite Photocatalysts: Halide‐Dependent Design, Mechanisms, and Stability Challenges

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
This Review highlights how metal halide perovskites enable coupled selective organic oxidation and hydrogen evolution under visible light. It summarizes halide‐dependent design principles, surface engineering strategies, reaction mechanisms, and stability challenges, providing guidance for developing efficient and durable photocatalytic systems ...

Constructed Red Phosphorus/BiVO4 S‐Scheme Heterojunction for Efficient Photocatalytic Overall Water Splitting

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
An S‐scheme red phosphorus/BiVO4 heterojunction is presented, where red phosphorus served as the water reduction site, and BiVO4 functioned as the water oxidation site. Because it has a built‐in electric field that helps charge transfer and separation, red phosphorus/BiVO4 works very well in the photocatalytic overall water splitting process.

Ni–Pd Catalytic Synergy on Rod‐Shaped CeO2 for Boosting Low‐Temperature CH4 Oxidation

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Introducing Ni into Pd/CeO2 markedly accelerates deep CH4 oxidation by inducing a synergistic interaction between Ni and Pd species. This synergistic effect significantly improves low‐temperature activity and long‐term stability, providing a rational strategy for efficient CH4 abatement over Pd‐based catalysts under lean CH4 conditions while reducing ...

A Biosourced and Self‐Healable Polymer Electrolyte for Potassium Batteries

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
A biosourced lignin‐filled gel polymer electrolyte combines suppressed crystallinity, high ionic conductivity, and UPy‐driven self‐healing for potassium batteries. The optimized formulation sustains long‐term cycling with 97.5% capacity retention after 1000 cycles and preserves electrochemical operation after intentional membrane damage.

A Slot‐Interlocking Modular Flexible Thermoelectric Device Based on High‐Performance Bi2Te3 Thin Films for Wearable Energy Harvesting

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
We report a 30 × 38 mm2 flexible thermoelectric device based on vertically aligned p/n Bi2Te3 thin films with high power factors of 31.0 and 20.3 μW cm−1 K−2. An optimized device geometry achieves a high normalized power density of 3.5 μW cm−2 K−2 through efficient thermal management, while maintaining excellent stability and modular scalability ...
