Thermally Pre‐Formed Reconfigurable Resistive Random‐Access Memory Crossbar Arrays: A Dual‐Mode Platform for Robust Physically Unclonable Functions and In‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reconfigurable RRAM platform utilizing thermally pre‐formed filaments (TPFs) is developed to realize robust hardware security. By exploiting the thermodynamic stochasticity of TPFs, exceptionally reliable physically unclonable functions (PUFs) are achieved.

The Homogeneous Broadcast Problem in Narrow and Wide Strips I: Algorithms

open access: yes, 2019
Let P be a set of nodes in a wireless network, where each node is modeled as a point in the plane, and let s∈ P be a given source node. Each node p can transmit information to all other nodes within unit distance, provided p is activated.

Is It Real Type‐II or S‐Scheme? A Three‐Phase Diagnostic Protocol for Identifying Potentially Mislabeled Heterojunction Photocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Diagnostic analysis via the heterojunction validation funnel. The funnel illustrates the hierarchical stratification of 30 reported Type‐II systems based on the three‐phase, seven‐step diagnostic framework. Complete validation through all phases is achieved by only 3.3% of systems, while 96.7% lack full mechanistic validation, revealing a pervasive ...

Anytime Algorithms for ROBDD Symmetry Detection and Approximation [PDF]

open access: yes
Reduced Ordered Binary Decision Diagrams (ROBDDs) provide a dense and memory efficient representation of Boolean functions. When ROBDDs are applied in logic synthesis, the problem arises of detecting both classical and generalised symmetries.

Plasmonic Enhancement of Fluorescence and Protein Dynamics in Living Mammalian Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates plasmonic enhancement of the function of fluorescent voltage sensing proteins (genetically encoded voltage indicators, (GEVIs), QuasAr6) in live mammalian cells. Coupling to plasmonic nanoparticles does not just increase fluorescence, but influences the protein photocycle, creating a hybrid sensor with its response speed to ...

DRR-NTT: Efficient NTT Accelerator in Lattice-Based Cryptography By Dimensionality Reduction in RRAM

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
Lattice-based cryptographic (LBC) algorithms, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) schemes and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), represent one of the most important families of quantum-resistant cryptosystems. A key computational primitive shared

Incremental evolution of cellular automata for random number generation

open access: yes, 2003
Cellular automata (CA) have been used in pseudorandom number generation for over a decade. Recent studies show that controllable CA (CCA) can generate better random sequences than conventional one-dimensional (1-d) CA and compete with two-dimensional (2 ...
