Numerical range of tensor product of operators in semi-Hilbert spaces
Let A and B be two positive bounded linear operators acting on the complex Hilbert spaces H and K, respectively. In this paper, we study the (A⊗B)-numerical range WA⊗B(T⊗S) of the tensor product T⊗S for two bounded linear operators T and S on H and K ...

Linear operators on matrices: the invariance of the decomposable numerical range. II
The author defines a rather general concept of numerical range and characterizes the linear operators on the matrix algebra which leave it invariant for each matrix. The conclusion is analogous to those obtained by \textit{M. Marcus} and \textit{I. Filippenko} [Linear Multilinear Algebra 7, 27-36 (1979; Zbl 0399.15013)], \textit{V. J. Pellegrini} [Stud.

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Numerical study of the ф4 standing waves in a ball of finite radius
Study of spherically symmetric time-periodic standing waves of the \( \varphi^4 \) model in a ball of finite radius was carried out based on the numerical solution of a boundary value problem on a cylindrical surface for a wide range of values of the ...

Short-Range Interaction Impact on Two-Dimensional Dipolar Scattering
We report numerical investigation of the short range interaction influence on the two-dimensional quantum scattering of two dipoles. The model simulates two ultracold polar molecules collisions in two spatial dimensions.

The mass accretion rate of galaxy clusters: a measurable quantity [PDF]
We explore the possibility of measuring the mass accretion rate (MAR) of galaxy clusters from their mass profiles beyond the virial radius $R_{200}$. We derive the accretion rate from the mass of a spherical shell whose inner radius is $2R_{200}$, whose ...

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

Very short-range wakefields in strongly tapered disk-loaded waveguide structures
Very short-range wakefields in strongly tapered disk-loaded waveguide structures are investigated in the regime where the so-called “catch-up” distance is much larger than the length of the tapered structure.

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...
