Instantaneous frequency extraction in time-varying structures using a maximum gradient method
A method is proposed for the identification of instantaneous frequencies (IFs) in time-varying structures. The proposed method combines a maximum gradient algorithm and a smoothing operation.

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

Estimating Semiparametric ARCH (8) Models by Kernel Smoothing Methods [PDF]
We investigate a class of semiparametric ARCH(8) models that includes as a special case the partially nonparametric (PNP) model introduced by Engle and Ng (1993) and which allows for both flexible dynamics and flexible function form with regard to the ...

Método gaussiano de suavización de datos experimentales [PDF]
We provide a method for experimental data smoothing under a certain noise by using a statistical fitting considering gaussian weight functions. This method is quite useful when we have a large amount of experimental data, which are expected to approach ...

Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Computation of transport function using multiple regression analysis
A multiple regression analysis, which allows a simultaneous introduction of smoothing, was adopted for a numerical deconvolution process to obtain the transport function from a pair of indicator dilution curves.

A Short Guide to Using Python For Data Analysis In Experimental Physics
Common signal processing tasks in the numerical handling of experimental data include interpolation, smoothing, and propagation of uncertainty. A comparison of experimental results to a theoretical model further requires curve fitting, the plotting of ...
