Abstract Early life‐history traits of seahorses are closely linked to juvenile survival, dispersal potential and the onset of substrate attachment; however, detailed stage‐resolved descriptions remain limited for many Hippocampus species. This study examined reproductive behaviour and early ontogenetic development of the Korean seahorse, Hippocampus ...

Axial muscle‐fibre orientations in larval zebrafish
In 4 days post‐fertilization zebrafish larvae, the fast axial muscle fibres follow helical trajectories that taper towards the tail. Adjacent muscle fibres form substantial angles relative to each other to accommodate this pattern. Using a novel semi‐automatic method, we quantified 3D fibre angles over the whole muscle volume.

Abstract Social enterprises are frontrunners in social innovation, yet our understanding of how they can scale their social impact beyond local, contained contexts remains nascent. To transform the institutional environment that gives rise to social problems, social enterprises must mobilize actors with divergent interests, values, and beliefs to ...

Inflammatory and Immunological Basis of Periodontal Diseases
The periodontal lesion emerges as an evolving immunological battlefield, where host–microbiome interactions, dysregulated immune responses, fragile resolution mechanisms, and inflammophilic dysbiosis converge to shift the balance from homeostasis to unrestrained tissue destruction.

Summary The autonomic nervous system regulates cardiovascular activity during sleep, likely impacting cardiovascular health. Aging, a primary cardiovascular risk factor, is associated with cardiac autonomic disbalance and diminished sleep slow waves. Therefore, slow waves may be linked to aging, autonomic activity and cardiovascular health. However, it
