Constraint-Based NURBS Surfaces Manipulation
2009 International Workshop on Intelligent Systems and Applications, 2009This paper presents a method for applying systems of constraints at a series of points on a NURBS surface and describes an efficient technique for the interactive application. By applying systems of constraints and minimizing the changes of control net in least-square sense, geometric features (such as position, partial derivative and normal vector) at

The popularity of the worldwide web and the easy availability of the digital content has brought the security issues to the forefront. NURBS is widely used in computer-aided geometry design and computer graphics for its strong representative properties. In this paper, we present a blind watermarking algorithm for NURBS surfaces.

UTD computation for NURBS surfaces
2012 6th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EUCAP), 2012One of the main problems in computing the UTD surface diffracted fields on surfaces described by Non-Uniform Rational B-splines (NURBS) is due to the difficulty in determining the geodesic paths the electromagnetic waves takes along the surface. In this paper we discuss some of the numerical algorithms that are used for computing surface diffraction on

Generalized NURBS curves and surfaces
Geometric Modeling and Processing, 2004. Proceedings, 2004A representation, the generalized NURBS (G-NURBS), is proposed for modeling parametric curves and surfaces. G-NURBS provides a unified framework for traditional parametric curve and surface. G-NURBS surface based on arbitrary irregular mesh can represent closed surface or trimmed surface with only one surface patch.

Geologic Modelling Using Parametric NURBS Surfaces
Proceedings, 2016Most reservoir modelling/simulation workflows represent geological heterogeneity on a pillar-grid defined early in the modelling process. However, it is challenging to represent many common geological features using pillar grids: examples include intersecting faults, recumbent folds, slumps, and non-monotonic injection structures such as salt diapirs ...

Measurement-based modification of NURBS surfaces
Computer-Aided Design, 2002A frequent requirement in computer aided design and manufacture is to update or refine an existing CAD model using measured data. Least squares surface fitting is known to suffer from stability problems, caused by an insufficient measurement density in some regions.

NURBS-compatible subdivision surfaces
2010Two main technologies are available to design and represent freeform surfaces: Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines (NURBS) and subdivision surfaces. Both representations are built on uniform B-splines, but they extend this foundation in incompatible ways, and different industries have therefore established a preference for one representation over the other.
