Accreditation and nursing practice
British Journal of Nursing, 1993As part of a larger study (Conway, 1993) the literature relating to accreditation of prior learning (APL), accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL), and the credit accumulation and transfer scheme (CATS) was examined. Significant influencing factors are identified and a general overview of the background to APEL is presented.
