Probing the nitrogen vacancy center using the Faraday effect at room temperature
The spin states of the nitrogen vacancy (NV^{−}) center in diamond are used in, among others, quantum computing, nanoscale imaging, and magnetic field sensing, and have been proposed for fundamental physics experiments.

This work investigates the impact of platinum thin films on shallow nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) centers in diamond for quantum sensing applications. Five samples are analyzed with varying nitrogen implantation energies (2.5–60 keV) and changes in optical properties, charge state, and coherence times are reported.

Small multimodal thermometry with detonation-created multi-color centers in detonation nanodiamond
Detonation nanodiamond (DND) is the smallest class of diamond nanocrystal capable of hosting various color centers with a size akin to molecular pores. Their negatively charged nitrogen-vacancy center (NV−) is a versatile tool for sensing a wide range of

Sharp Diamond Needles for Single‐Photon Emission
We study the morphological evolution of single‐crystal diamond needles oxidized at 650–700 °C. Electron microscopy and photoluminescence reveal temperature‐ and time‐dependent sharpening, length reduction, and surface modifications affecting tip properties.
