Structure of the O10 antigen of Stenotrophomonas (Xanthomonas) maltophilia

Carbohydrate Research, 1995
A polysaccharide containing L-rhamnose and L-xylose was isolated from the lipopolysaccharide extracted from the cell walls of the reference strain for Stenotrophomonas (Xanthomonas) maltophilia serogroup O10. By means of NMR studies and methylation analysis, the repeating unit of the polymer was identified as a branched tetrasaccharide of the structure

Structure of the putative O10 antigen from Acinetobacter baumannii

Carbohydrate Research, 1994
A polysaccharide containing L-rhamnose, 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucose, and 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-mannose was obtained from an aqueous phenol extract of isolated cell walls from the reference strain for Acinetobacter baumannii serogroup O10. By means of NMR studies and chemical degradations, the repeating unit of the polymer (the putative O10 antigen ...

Structural studies of a neutral polymer (the putative O10 antigen) isolated from the lipopolysaccharide of Serratia marcescens strain C.D.C. 1287-54 (O10:H8)

Carbohydrate Research, 1989
A neutral glucorhamnan has been isolated from the lipopolysaccharide of the O10 reference strain (C.D.C. 1287-54) of Serratia marcescens. By means of n.m.r. spectroscopy, methylation analysis, and degradative studies, the polymer (the putative O-specific antigen) was found to have the branched, pentasaccharide repeating-unit shown. (formula; see text).

O10: Pesticide concentration in hair of animals under controlled exposure

Toxicologie Analytique et Clinique, 2014
Introduction Increasing interest is currently observed in hair analysis for the assessment of human exposure to organic pollutants. Nevertheless, only few studies have been published in this specific field so far, and several aspects still have to be investigated for optimum use of the information hair analysis can provide.
