Multi-electron SEFs for nuclear reactions involved in advanced stages of stellar evolution
Multi-electron screening effects encountered in laboratory astrophysical reactions are investigated by considering the reactants Thomas-Fermi atoms. By means of that model, previous studies are extended to derive the corresponding screening enhancement ...

Assessing the relevance of higher education courses [PDF]
The establishment of the European Higher Education Area has involved specifying lists of professional competencies that programs are expected to develop, and with this the need for procedures to measure how every course within a higher education program ...

We investigated regional differences in pregnancy complications in Finland and their association with maternal obesity and diet. Birth register data were merged with loyalty card‐based food purchase data of fertile‐age women by postal codes. Among 109 306 births, women in Northern and Eastern Finland had higher odds of hypertensive complications than ...

Test Flavor SU(3) symmetry in Exclusive $\Lambda_c$ decays
Flavor SU(3) symmetry is a powerful tool to analyze charmed baryon decays, however its applicability remains to be experimentally validated. Since there is not much data on $\Xi_c$ decays, various exclusive $\Lambda_c$ decays especially the ones into a ...

Synthesis and Structure of a Metal‐Rich Tetradecagallium Cluster with a Polyhedral Core
Ga14(hypersilyl)6 [hypersilyl = Si(SiMe3)3] is a novel cluster compound with an unprecedented structure in gallium chemistry. The gallium atoms form an omnicapped cube, where the capping atoms bear the hypersilyl groups; the cube forming atoms are naked gallium atoms.

First Principles Calculations of Ionic Vibrational Frequencies in PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3
Lattice dynamics for several ordered supercells with composition PbMg1/3Nb2/3O (PMN) were calculated with first-principles frozen phonon methods. Nominal symmetries of the supercells studied are reduced by lattice instabilities.

CP-violation and mixing in charmed mesons [PDF]
The Standard Model contribution to D0-anti-D0 mixing is dominated by the contributions of light s and d quarks. Neglecting the tiny effects due to b quark, both mass and lifetime differences vanish in the limit of SU(3)_F symmetry.

Synthesis and Electrochemical Investigations of a Binuclear [FeFe]‐Hydrogenase Mimic
Herein, a [FeFe]‐hydrogenase mimic with the benzene‐1,2‐dithiol ligand bearing two amino‐groups in 4‐ and 5‐position of the ligand is reported. The complex is active in the electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction, and electrochemical investigation reveal an (E)ECEC mechanism for the hydrogen evolution reaction employing weak acids. Herein, a [FeFe]‐

Impact of Internal Migration on Population Redistribution in Slovenia
Background: In most countries, data on migration refer only to flows between administratively or statistically defined zones that are changing over time.

Betonica macrantha methanol extract exhibited anticancer activity against MDA‐MB‐231 breast cancer cells (IC50: 0.8 mg/mL), upregulating miR‐19, miR‐20a, miR‐126, and miR‐200c. GC–MS and HPLC analyses identified key bioactive compounds, including α‐pinene, caryophyllene, and catechin, which showed favorable pharmacokinetics and target interactions ...
