Transitions au niveau 6.06 MeV des etats de O16 excites par N15(p, γ) O16
Physics Letters, 1963The branching ratios of (decay to 6.08-Mev level)/(decay directly to ground state) are measured for several 1/sup -/ states and one 11 state in O/sup 16/, namely, the levels at 13.1, 17.13, andd 17.3 Mev, and the level at 16.22 Mev, respectively. The results lead to the hypothesis of T = 1 for the 6.06-Mev level. (T.F.H.)

Paritätsverbotener Alpha-Zerfall in O16
Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei, 1970The theory of the parity-nonconserving alpha-decays from levels in O16 is developed. Using the weak nucleon-nucleon interaction of Blin-Stoyle and Herczeg and known O16 wave-functions modified by short-range correlations via Bethe-Goldstone equation, the irregular alpha widths of the states 2−(8.88 MeV) and 3+(11.05 MeV) have been related to known ...

Wirkungsquerschnitt der Reaktion O16 (γ,t)
Zeitschrift für Physik, 1966The tritium yield from irradiation of water with bremsstrahlung was determined in the energy range from threshold to 54,5 MeV. The tritium activity was measured using a low-level gas counter. From a smoothed yield curve, the approximate shape of the cross section was inferred.

High energy transitions in O16
Physics Letters, 1963Peaks in the inelastic electron scattering cross section for O/sup 16/ at 44.5 and 49 Mev have recently been reported and suggested to be overtones of the E1 transitions of the giant resonance. It was concluded by comparing the observed form factors with those predicted by the surface interaction model that both E1 and E2 transitions were contributing ...

Nuclear Physics, 1962
Abstract 1) Some general characteristics of the particle-hole energy are discussed by using a simple model. 2) Energy levels of the 0+ excited states due to the excitation of a single nucleon are estimated for O16 and Ca40 using the Rosenfeld force.

Structure of the O16 antigen of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia
Carbohydrate Research, 2001A polysaccharide containing D-ribose, N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, and N-acetyl-D-mannosamine was isolated from the phenol-soluble lipopolysaccharide extracted from defatted cell walls of the reference strain (560) for serogroup O16 of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.

Search for structure in the elastic scattering of O16 by O16 utilizing a gas target
Nuclear Physics, 1965Abstract Excitation curves for the elastic scattering of O 16 by O 16 have been taken with approximately 40 keV resolution in the bombarding energy range from 19 to 27 MeV. No significant resonant structure was observed confirming earlier work with a resolution of 250 keV.

Electric quadrupole enhancement near O16
Nuclear Physics, 1959Abstract The core enhancement of E2 effects near O 16 is calculated on the shell model with configuration mixing. The physical basis of the method is clarified by tracing its connection with Hartree-Fock theory and it is shown that it allows only for the static distortion of the core, but not for the genuine dynamic correlations between the odd ...

O16: Ethyl glucuronide in plant extracts
Toxicologie Analytique et Clinique, 2014Introduction The specificity of ethyl glucuronide (EtG) in hair as marker of alcohol consumption exceeds by far those of fatty acid ethyl esters. False positive cases are therefore very rare but not excluded as recent publications have shown.
