Lower levels of O17 and F17 in the α-model of the nucleus
Nuclear Physics, 1962Abstract A method is presented for calculating one-particles states in the α-model by using a non-spherical potential similar to the Nilsson potential but with other properties of symmetry. The spectrum of the lower levels of O17 and F17 is calculated in the weak coupling scheme taking into account the interaction of the motion of the particle with ...

On the negative parity states of O17, O18 and F19
Physics Letters, 1963Theoretical explanation of the negative parity states in the (2s,1d) shell and their apparent collective properties were discussed. The initial results of calculations on the negative parity states of O/sup 17/, O /sup 18/, and F/sup 19/ were presented. The work was based on a shell model that explained these properties. (C.E.S.)

Covalent distribution of spin in V2O3:O17 nuclear resonance
Solid State Communications, 1974Abstract O 17 nuclear magnetic resonance has been observed in metallic V 2 O 3 with frequency shifts from (−0.10 ± 0.02)-(−0.05 ± 0.02) per cent between 170 and 460°K respectively, a linewidth of 37 ± 5 oe and spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/ T 1 ≈ 60 sec −1 at 296°K. From these quantities, covalency parameters f s /2 S = − 0.35 × 10 −3 and

The O17(t, p)O19 reaction in a nuclear reactor
Nuclear Physics, 1962Abstract By using tritons from pile irradiated Li 6 , the reaction O 17 (t, p)O 19 was observed. The thick target yield at E t ≦2.73 MeV was measured. The effective cross section of the reaction was evaluated and found to be 34±7mb.

O17: Validation of a Food Behavior Checklist for Spanish Speakers
Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, 2008Outcome Measures and Analysis: Three components were evaluated: 1) FFQ computer program, 2) final set of food photos, and 3) future improvements of the FFQ. Frequency counts and percentages were used in data analysis. Results: Seventy-five percent of participants considered the FFQ computer program “very easy to use”.

Lifetimes of the first excited states of B10, O17 and F17 (I)
Nuclear Physics, 1962Abstract The lifetimes of the first excited states of B10 ,O17 and F17 have been measured by the delayed coincidence method using a pulsed beam. The measured mean lives are: (1.00±0.03) × 10−9 sec (B16), (4.30±0.21) × 10−10 sec (O17) and (4.29±0.22) × 10−19 sec (F17). The chief theoretical treatments of quadrupole enhancement are reviewed, and their

Improved health span and lifespan extension in a wide phylogenetic range of species is associated with upregulation of the environmental stress response (ESR). The ESR, driven by the transcription factor Nrf2, provides endogenous antioxidant defence to maintain intracellular redox balance.

O17 Transforming sexual health systems through online services
Sexually Transmitted Infections, 2017IntroductionOnline sexual health services can transform sexual health systems through increased access and self-management. They are one element of the whole sexual health economy. Best practice facilitates appropriate movement of users between online and clinic services according to their sexual health need.MethodsUsing routinely collected, anonymised
