O17 Stereotyping of healthcare professionals’ personality traits in simulation training

Oral presentations, 2020
Introduction Medical students and junior doctors’ perceptions about medical specialties are influenced by multiple factors. The hidden curriculum describes the implicit influences which shape the attitudes, behaviours and choices of medical graduates.1 Much of what is learnt through simulation occurs through powerful behavioural role modelling.

O17 Identification and characterisation of phytochemicals activating endogenous cytoprotective mechanisms

Biochemical Pharmacology, 2017
Improved health span and lifespan extension in a wide phylogenetic range of species is associated with upregulation of the environmental stress response (ESR). The ESR, driven by the transcription factor Nrf2, provides endogenous antioxidant defence to maintain intracellular redox balance.

The O17(t, p)O19 reaction in a nuclear reactor

Nuclear Physics, 1962
Abstract By using tritons from pile irradiated Li 6 , the reaction O 17 (t, p)O 19 was observed. The thick target yield at E t ≦2.73 MeV was measured. The effective cross section of the reaction was evaluated and found to be 34±7mb.

On the negative parity states of O17, O18 and F19

Physics Letters, 1963
Theoretical explanation of the negative parity states in the (2s,1d) shell and their apparent collective properties were discussed. The initial results of calculations on the negative parity states of O/sup 17/, O /sup 18/, and F/sup 19/ were presented. The work was based on a shell model that explained these properties. (C.E.S.)
