Structural and serological studies of lipopolysaccharides of Citrobacter O35 and O38 antigenically related to Salmonella [PDF]
Structural analysis using 13C NMR spectroscopy and methylation showed that lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) of Citrobacter freundii O35 and Salmonella arizonae O59 have structurally identical O-specific polysaccharide chains, and those of C. freundii O38 and Salmonella kentucky differ only in the presence of O-acetyl groups in the former.

Abstract Ground‐based light detection and ranging (LiDAR) is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative means to conventional forest inventory methods. By gauging the distances to multiple points on the surrounding object surfaces, LiDAR acquires 3D point clouds from which tree sizes and spatial distributions can be rapidly estimated. However, the

Modeling temperature dynamic effects for high‐power light‐emitting diodes
This paper theoretically predicts that when temperature is considered a state variable, power diodes may show a memristive behavior. The memristive behavior of power LEDs was further observed experimentally by driving them with triangular current waves with a period comparable to the time constants of the LED and the board.

More than 20 new compounds derived from 2,4,6‐trihydroxybenzoic acid (H4thba) have been synthesized, with structures that include discrete molecular units and chains, in addition to two‐ and three‐dimensional nets. Intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the ortho‐hydroxy groups and the carboxylate group in the H3thba− anion confer a rigid geometry upon ...
