Analysis of depressive symptom trajectory patterns with zuranolone: Time‐series clustering of Japanese Phase 2 and Phase 3 trial data

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences Reports, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
In this pooled analysis of Phase 2/3 trials in Japanese adults with major depressive disorder (MDD), we aimed to characterize depressive symptom trajectories following zuranolone 30 mg administration. Dynamic Time Warping–based k‐means clustering identified four distinct symptom trajectories.

Age and Maturation Stage Linked Consequences of Fibrinogen on Human Oligodendroglia [PDF]

open access: yesJ Neurosci Res
This study shows that the blood‐derived molecule, Fibrinogen, has a differential effect on human Oligodendroglial (OL) cells. Fibrinogen, when added in vitro, leads to aberrant differentiation of OL‐precursors towards an astrocytic fate. On the other hand, when added into the culture of mature OLs, fibrinogen increases myelination capacity.

Rapid Structural Analysis of Natural Products Using MicroED

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 15, 12 March 2026.
The cryoEM method, MicroED used for rapid analysis and structure determination of natural products that remained unattainable by other structural biology methods ABSTRACT Structural analysis of natural products remains challenging due to their inherent complexity and limited availability.

Lagrangian Acceleration as a Diagnostic for Wave Breaking in the Nearshore Zone

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract This study focuses on evaluating the Lagrangian downward acceleration of fluid particles near the wavecrest as a dynamic criterion for identification of wave breaking in shallow water. The use of the downward acceleration as an indicator for wave breaking goes back to the work of Longuet‐Higgins (1963), https://doi.org/10.1017 ...

Structure and optical properties of a trimetallic cobalt–molybdenum–sodium metal–organic framework

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section C, Volume 82, Issue 3, Page 102-109, March 2026.
The structure of a trimetallic MOF synthesized under solvothermal conditions has been determined using 3D electron diffraction with bulk sample purity assessed by Rietveld analysis of high‐resolution powder X‐ray diffraction. The 3D connected structure contains tetrahedral MoVI, five‐coordinate CoII and six‐ and seven‐coordinate Na, connected by ...
