Aza‐Michael Addition in Explicit Solvent: A Relative Energy Gradient–Interacting Quantum Atoms Study
The aza‐Michael reaction of a few electrophiles with methylamine in explicit DMSO is computationally investigated through the REG‐IQA method. A first link between this method and experimental values, namely Mayr electrophilicities is reported. Abstract Aza‐Michael additions are key reactions in organic synthesis.

O47 MESH-RELATED COMPLICATIONS, CHRONIC PAIN, AND ECONOMIC CLAIM COMPENSATION AFTER UMBILICAL HERNIA REPAIR [PDF]
Abstract Aim The risk of mesh-related surgical complications after umbilical hernia repair is not known and chronic pain has only sparsely been analysed. Economic claims may represent a surrogate for poor postoperative surgical outcomes.

A series of divalent and one trivalent metal chelates of the azo ligand resulting from coupling of sulfafurazole diazonium chloride with resorcinol have been designed and synthesized. Structure investigation of the isolated chelates have been achieved by applying spectroscopic and analytical tools which collaborated to assure the formation of the metal

Sustainability of the rice-shrimp farming system in Mekong Delta, Vietnam: a climate adaptive model [PDF]
Purpose – Agricultural systems in Mekong Delta have transformed to cope with climate change. Various researches pointed out that integrated agriculture-aquaculture (IAA) farming systems (i.e., rice-shrimp, rice-fish…) emerged as potential climate ...

Modelling opportunity cost effects in money demand due to openness
Abstract We apply a novel model‐based approach to constructing composite international financial indices (CIFIs) as measures of opportunity cost effects that arise due to openness in money demand models. These indices are tested on the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Taiwan Province of China (TPC), two economies which differ substantially in size ...

Abstract The mother's bond to her baby starts to develop during pregnancy, and it is related to the baby's attachment. We study how the mother's prenatal expectations of her unborn baby, the mother's adult relationships, and postnatal psycho‐social factors (stress, depression, and anxiety) are related to the risk of bonding disturbance.

Abstract Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are one of the leading causes of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. We aimed to estimate the prevalence of each HDP in France and to study their associations. All pregnant women who delivered in France between 2010 and 2018 were included in a cohort and followed during their pregnancy and 6 ...

The high‐resolution crystal structure of a novel FAD‐dependent oxidoreductase from the GMC oxidoreductase superfamily reveals a novel His–Ser active‐site pair located in an extensive active‐site pocket. Crystallographic fragment screening led to the identification of subsites inside the active‐site pocket, indicating a preference for polyaromatic ...
