Cu─X Bonds Regulated Conduction and Polarization Loss in Conductive Metal‐Organic Framework Under Electromagnetic Field

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 33, September 4, 2025.
A ligand regulation strategy by modifying functional motifs (X = −NH2, −OH, and −SH) in triphenylene is pioneered and developed to afford Cu─X bonds, achieving a synergistic conduction and polarisation loss mechanism under an electromagnetic field for enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption. Abstract Conduction and polarization are known to profoundly

Simple study designs in ecology produce inaccurate estimates of biodiversity responses

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 56, Issue 12, Page 2742-2754, December 2019., 2019
We suggest that more investment in more robust designs is needed in ecology since inferences from simpler designs, even with large sample sizes may be misleading. Facilitating this requires longer‐term funding and stronger research–practice partnerships. We also propose ‘accuracy weights’ and demonstrate how they can weight studies in three recent meta‐

Ab initio exploration of low‐lying electronic states of linear and bent MNX+ (M = Ca, Sr, Ba, Ra; X = O, S, Se, Te, Po) and their origins

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 45, Issue 30, Page 2530-2538, November 15, 2024.
Ab initio quantum calculations were performed to study electronic structures of linear‐MNX+ and side‐bonded‐M[NX]+ (M = Ca, Sr, Ba, Ra; X = O, S, Se, Te, Po) species. Their full potential energy curves, geometric parameters, and energy related properties are reported.

Economic growth, convergence, and agricultural economics

open access: yesAgricultural Economics, Volume 50, Issue S1, Page 7-27, November 2019., 2019
Abstract After nearly two centuries of lagging behind the industrial countries, growth in many developing countries has surged since the early 1990s. This outperformance has major implications for almost all areas of agricultural economics and, if continued, will likely do so into the future.

Surface water quality in Amazonian Floodplain Lakes, data set of the Lago Grande de Curuai Floodplain Lake, Pará‐Brazil

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal, Volume 11, Issue 3, Page 252-266, July 2024.
The data set contains surface water quality parameters in a large Amazonian floodplain. The data were acquired through nine field campaigns organized between March 2013 and April 2017. A minimum of 25 fixed stations were visited during each campaign. Vertical profiles obtained by a multiparameter probe at each station are also available.

Ambidexterity within a multinational context: how organisations can leverage explorative and exploitative reverse innovation

open access: yesR&D Management, Volume 54, Issue 3, Page 628-643, June 2024.
Organisational ambidexterity allows firms to maintain a competitive advantage. In today's globally competitive environment, characterised by dispersed knowledge and diversified markets, ambidexterity assumes an even more important connotation from a geographic perspective.

FDI and Economic Growth: A new Look from the Sectoral Perspective

open access: yesNaše Gospodarstvo, 2022
This paper investigates the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on economic growth in a sample of 10 ex-socialist European and Asian countries. While the link between FDI and economic growth has been extensively investigated in empirical literature,
