Using the capabilities approach to achieve people‐centered conservation
Abstract Top‐down interventions carried out by state and nonstate institutions to conserve biodiversity and improve the lives of forest‐proximate people (FPP) in the Global South tend to reflect economistic understandings of human well‐being. More progressive and people‐centered conservation projects are guided by normative visions of how the world ...

Our paper entitled ‘Seismicity Gap Near Oaxaca, Southern Mexico as a Probable Precursor to a Large Earthquake,’ published in Pure and Applied Geophysics (volume 115, 1977), predicted the large Mexico earthquake that occurred on November 29. We examine how changes in task content over time condition occupational wage development. MRTFs and YAP/TAZ proteins, or mechanosensitive transcriptional cofactors (MRTcoF), regulate common genes associated with cellular contractility and immune cell infiltration. Their differential regulation in response to stiffness is linked to changes in hepatocyte's aspect ratio. MRTFB does not undergo nuclear translocation under these conditions. This

For migratory songbirds, climate and the persistence of suitable habitat over time are fundamental to sustaining populations annually.

Is There Intersectional Labor Market Discrimination?
ABSTRACT We test for intersectional labor market discrimination across five dimensions: gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and disability. Specifically, we test for “amplifying intersectionality”—negative interactions between the effects of marginalized identities that make wage penalties greater than additive.
