Deficiency of SCAMP5 Triggers Pancreatic β‐Cell Secretory Dysfunction and Apoptosis

This study demonstrates that hyperglycemia in diabetes activates ChREBP, which epigenetically represses SCAMP5 expression in pancreatic β‐cells. This SCAMP5 deficiency impairs insulin secretion by downregulating the calcium channel CaV1.2. Norepinephrine Induces Sertoli Cell Ferroptosis via Receptors Desensitization Causing Stress‐Related Male Reproductive Dysfunction

Psychological stress activates the sympathetic–adrenal axis, elevating norepinephrine (NE) and suppressing reproductive hormones, thereby impairing male reproduction. Excess NE overactivates and desensitizes β‐adrenergic receptors (β‐ARs), triggering Sertoli cell ferroptosis and disrupting spermatogenesis.
