Storage and manipulation of vague spatial objects using existing GIS functionality
We collect and store data to derive information and make judgments about a world of our interest. Ideally, they should indicate in a unique and certain way which possible world corresponds to the actual world [17].

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Objects, Thin Objects, Thin Access to Objects
Deflationist approaches to abstract objects typically have a distinctive advantage over non-deflationist counterparts on the epistemological front, given the avoidance of commitment to the existence of these objects (Azzouni, Deflating existential ...

Cooperatively Augmenting Smart Objects with Projector-Camera Systems [PDF]
In this paper we propose an object-centric method of augmenting mobile smart objects using projection onto the surface of the objects. We assume that the objects are both real world objects with an inherent use, and autonomous computational nodes that ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

An innovative use of learning objects and learning style in pedagogic agent systems [PDF]
Adaptivity in education is increasingly demanded in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process, but few intelligent learning systems exist which are dynamic and able to provide personalized learning materials to satisfy ...
