This study proposes a piezoelectric interface modification strategy to amplify the piezoionic effect. The piezoelectric interface generates an intrinsic electric field, which not only drives rapid ion migration but also concentrates polarized ions on the interface. The flexible sensor delivers superior performance, such as a quick response rate, strong

Variation in multiring basic structures as a function of impact angle [PDF]
Previous studies have demonstrated that the impact process in the laboratory varies as a function of impact angle. This variation is attributed to changes in energy partitioning and projectile failure during the impact and, in simple craters, produces a ...

Some reflections on a model to predict the erosion rate of the passive film on pure metals [PDF]
A model to predict the erosion rate of the passive films on metals is proposed. The model investigates the effect of eroded particles on a metal on which a passive (oxide) film has formed. To date, many of the existing erosion models have concentrated on

Electroweak Precision Observables within a Fourth Generation Model with General Flavour Structure
We calculate the contributions to electroweak precision observables (EWPOs) due to a fourth generation of fermions with the most general (quark-)flavour structure (but assuming Dirac neutrinos and a trivial flavour structure in the lepton sector).

Bioinspired Morphology‐Decoupled Soft Gripper with Enhanced Bidirectional Grasping Capability
Inspired by biological predation, a novel gripper decouples cross‐modal grasping via dual morphological configurations. Synergistically integrating hybrid rigid and soft coupled fingers with a metamaterial palm, the system performs active compliant grasping for static objects and passive cage capture for dynamic targets.

The Frictional Impact with Rebound for 3D Printed Surfaces
This research explores the oblique impact with rebound of a rigid rod and 3D-printed surfaces with varying infill ratios. A visco-elastic contact model is developed using normal impact experiments and then confirmed with oblique impact experiments.

Value of Oblique View in Nodular Thyroid Disease; Revisiting Fundamentals
Thyroid scintigraphy plays an important role in the anatomical and functional evaluation of thyroid nodules which carry the risk of malignancy. The presence of multiple nodules carries overall smaller risk of cancer than solitary nodule. Missing nodules,

A protocol of fs‐laser‐induced periodic phase‐transition of 2D‐MoTe2 template, inducing AuNPs@1T’‐MoTe2 nanograting, is developed. The labeled AuNPs@1T’‐MoTe2 substrate conjugated with specialized immunoglobulin G demonstrates an unexpectedly high discrimination accuracy close to unity for serological diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis by frequency ...
