Oblivious Transfer Is Symmetric [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We show that oblivious transfer of bits from A to B can be obtained from a single instance of the same primitive from B to A. Our reduction is perfect and shows that oblivious transfer is in fact a symmetric functionality. This solves an open problem posed by Crepeau and Santha in 1991.

Oblivious Transfer and Quantum Channels [PDF]

open access: yes2006 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2006
We show that oblivious transfer can be seen as the classical analogue to a quantum channel in the same sense as non-local boxes are for maximally entangled qubits.

Quantum Rabin oblivious transfer using two pure states

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Oblivious transfer between two untrusting parties is an important primitive in cryptography. There are different variants of oblivious transfer. In Rabin oblivious transfer, the sender Alice holds a bit, and the receiver Bob either obtains the bit, or ...

Oblivious Transfer Is in MiniQCrypt [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
MiniQCrypt is a world where quantum-secure one-way functions exist, and quantum communication is possible. We construct an oblivious transfer (OT) protocol in MiniQCrypt that achieves simulation-security in the plain model against malicious quantum polynomial-time adversaries, building on the foundational work of Bennett, Brassard, Crépeau and ...

Efficient and fully simulated oblivious transfer protocol on elliptic curve

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2023
Oblivious transfer protocol, an important technology in secure multi-party computation, is the research hotspot on network and information security.Based on the bilinear pairs and the difficult problems on elliptic curves, an efficient 1-out-of-N ...

A device-independent protocol for XOR oblivious transfer [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2022
Oblivious transfer is a cryptographic primitive where Alice has two bits and Bob wishes to learn some function of them. Ideally, Alice should not learn Bob's desired function choice and Bob should not learn any more than what is logically implied by the ...

Imperfect 1-Out-of-2 Quantum Oblivious Transfer: Bounds, a Protocol, and its Experimental Implementation

open access: yesPRX Quantum, 2021
Oblivious transfer is an important primitive in modern cryptography. Applications include secure multiparty computation, oblivious sampling, e-voting, and signatures. Information-theoretically secure perfect 1-out-of 2 oblivious transfer is impossible to

Generation and Distribution of Quantum Oblivious Keys for Secure Multiparty Computation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
The oblivious transfer primitive is sufficient to implement secure multiparty computation. However, secure multiparty computation based on public-key cryptography is limited by the security and efficiency of the oblivious transfer implementation.
