Engineered Mesenchymal Stem Cell–NK Cell Complexes for Spatially Targeted and Functionally Revitalized Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IL‐15‐engineered stem cell–NK cell complexes, assembled via bioorthogonal chemistry, enable effective lung cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Natural killer (NK) cells represent a powerful immunotherapeutic strategy due to their intrinsic cytotoxicity and ability to target tumor cells independently of antigen presentation.

Decoding Human Placental Cellular and Molecular Responses to Obesity and Fetal Growth

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Women with obesity often deliver large‐for‐gestational‐age (LGA) infants. Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing of term placenta reveals that hypoxia and TNF‐α signaling in syncytiotrophoblasts are featured in maternal obesity, but inflammatory signatures in Hofbauer cells and response to lipid or carbohydrate metabolism in fibroblasts are specific to LGA.

Enhanced Congestion Management for Minimizing Network Performance Degradation in OBS Networks

open access: yesSAIEE Africa Research Journal, 2018
Current global data traffic is increasingly dominated by delay and loss intolerant IP traffic which generally displays a structural self-similarity. This has necessitated the introduction of optical burst switching (OBS) as a supporting optical backbone network switching technology. Due to the buffer-less nature of optical burst switched (OBS) networks,

Comprehensive Profiling of N6‐methyladnosine (m6A) Readouts Reveals Novel m6A Readers That Regulate Human Embryonic Stem Cell Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This research deciphers the m6A transcriptome by profiling its sites and functional readout effects: from mRNA stability, translation to alternative splicing, across five different cell types. Machine learning model identifies novel m6A‐binding proteins DDX6 and FXR2 and novel m6A reader proteins FUBP3 and L1TD1.

Temporal and Cell‐Specific Regulation of Synaptic Homeostasis by the Chromatin Remodeler Chd1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chd1, the Drosophila homologue of mammalian CHD2 ‐ a gene linked to autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability, is required for synaptic homeostatic plasticity. Chd1 in glia is necessary for the rapid induction of synaptic homeostasis, whereas Chd1 in motoneurons, muscle, and glia is critical for long‐term maintenance.

PRUNED ANN MODEL FOR THREE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR OPERATING CONDITIONS CLASSIFICATION

open access: yesDiyala Journal of Engineering Sciences, 2008
The Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) have become a very useful tool in a wide range of engineering applications. In this paper, feed forward neural network Optimal Brain Surgeon (OBS) pruned model is proposed to classify the operating conditions of ...

Group Scheduling for MultiChannel in OBS Networks

open access: yesREV Journal on Electronics and Communications, 2014
Group scheduling is a scheduling operation of optical burst switching networks in which the burst header packets arriving in each timeslot will schedule their following bursts simultaneously. There have been many proposals for group scheduling (such as OBS-GS, MWIS-OS and LGS), but they consider mainly to schedule the arriving bursts which have the ...

Connexin43 Deficiency Leads to Ventricular Arrhythmias by Reprogramming Proline Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study demonstrated that connexin43 (Cx43) knockout caused arrhythmic phenotype and decreased proline content in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, Cx43 interacts with the amino acid transporter SNAT2 (sodium‐dependent neutral amino acid transporter), and its deficiency disrupts proline transport and metabolism.
