Observing "The Observers Observed": A Comment
Social Problems, 1989Peneff's (1988) ethnographic study of interviewers of the Institut National de la Statistique et des Etudes Economiques (INSEE) provides rich insight into how the institutional history and administrative structure of INSEE impacts on data collection in the field.

"Observation Hip" is a provisional diagnosis. Although transient arthritis is the most frequent pathology, it is important to establish a diagnostic routine to consider the various types of hip pathology. Physical examination and clinical evolution are the most important factors in making a specific diagnosis.

In chapter 4 a state-vector feedback u = -k’x was assumed for the controller structure. In most control systems not all components of the state vector are measured. Some variables may be difficult to measure; for others the sensors may be expensive or unreliable. If a Vector \(\underset{\raise0.3em\hbox{$\smash{\scriptscriptstyle-}$}}{Y} ' = [y_1 \,y_2
