Abstract The threat of Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing to global fisheries, particularly in lower‐income tropical regions, underscores the urgent need for science‐based solutions. This study explores the drivers and potential solutions to IUU fishing by Honduran fishers in the Cayman Crown reef, located within the territorial waters ...

Current stewardship practices in invasion biology limit the value and secondary use of genomic data
Abstract Invasive species threaten native biota, putting fragile ecosystems at risk and having a large‐scale impact on primary industries. Growing trade networks and the popularity of personal travel make incursions a more frequent risk, one only compounded by global climate change.

The impact of the site quality of the Zadko Observatory on its scientific results [PDF]
We present the site quality of the Zadko Observatory, focusing on the brightness of the sky and the effects of the weather on the efficiency of the Observatory. We discuss these effects and their consequences for the scientific goals of the Observatory. Without surprise, the overall sky quality had decreased during the last decade.
