Primiparous and multiparous women's birthing experiences and satisfaction with pain management in the first and second stages of vaginal delivery—A prospective cohort study

Multiparous women were slightly more satisfied with their birthing experience than were primiparous women even though there was no difference in pain management satisfaction related to parity. Satisfaction with pain management during the second stage of labor significantly influences overall experience.
