The Placenta Regulates Intrauterine Fetal Growth via Exosomal PPARγ
The placenta expresses much higher levels of PPARγ than fetal adipose tissue. Trophoblastic exosomes transport PPARγ into fetal preadipocytes via fetoplacental circulation and thus regulate adipogenic genes distinct from endogenous PPARγ. Compromised placental PPARγ leads to fetal adipogenesis deficiency and intrauterine growth restriction, reversible ...

Exosome‐based nanoparticles (GC‐Exo‐CD16Ab) are designed to deliver glucocorticoids (GC) specifically to decidual CD16+ NK cells and macrophages. This targeted delivery effectively suppresses the cytotoxicity of decidual NK cells, inhibits M1 macrophage polarization, and modulates the decidual microenvironment.

Evaluating the Reproducibility of Research in Obstetrics and Gynecology [PDF]
Objective: Reproducibility is a core tenet of scientific research. A reproducible study is one where the results can be recreated by different investigators in different circumstances using the same methodology and materials. Unfortunately, reproducibility is not a standard to which the majority of research is currently adherent.
