Conclusion: The study demonstrates that adolescent girls presenting with clitoromegaly are likely to seek clitoral reduction surgery despite potential impairment to clitoral sensitivity and uncertain long-term physical or psychological benefit. It is of interest that a minority of patients do not choose (further) surgery.

Uterine didelphys are rare malformations involving the Mullerian ducts. The incidence ranges from 0.1% to 3.8%. This wide range could be because of inaccurate diagnosis or to the fact that many of these diagnoses are not detected during the women's lifetime.

Müllerian malformations include a broad range of anomalies, resulting from the incomplete formation and/or differentiation of the Müllerian ducts. The uterus didelphys with obstructed hemivagina represents the result of a lateral nonfusion of the Müllerian ducts with asymmetric obstruction, and it is almost always associated with renal agenesis.
