Clinical Implications of Amyloid-Beta Accumulation in Occipital Lobes in Alzheimer’s Continuum
A substantial amount of amyloid-beta (Aβ) accumulates in the occipital cortices; however, it draws less attention. We investigated the clinical implications of Aβ accumulation in the occipital lobes in the Alzheimer’s disease (AD) continuum.

SMART FARMING: ORGANIC COMMUNICATION CHANNELS (OCCS) [PDF]
Organic Communication Channels (OCCs) are any hydrocarbon-based media which can be used to communicate data. This has great potential when applied to cyber-physical systems such as with smart farming. This paper establishes the relevance (though a literature survey and consideration of possible use cases for this technology), feasibility (through ...

Prediction of protein-protein interactions using one-class classification methods and integrating diverse data [PDF]
This research addresses the problem of prediction of protein-protein interactions (PPI) when integrating diverse kinds of biological information. This task has been commonly viewed as a binary classification problem (whether any two proteins do or do ...

Compressed Subsequence Matching and Packed Tree Coloring [PDF]
We present a new algorithm for subsequence matching in grammar compressed strings. Given a grammar of size $n$ compressing a string of size $N$ and a pattern string of size $m$ over an alphabet of size $\sigma$, our algorithm uses $O(n+\frac{n\sigma}{w})$

Investigation of applying the old corrugated container (OCC) and aspen chips in particleboard production [PDF]
In this study, aspen chips with OCC (Old Corrugated Container) were used in particleboard production and samples were prepared at two different levels of resin contents (%9 and %10) and three levels of combination: 1- %25 OCC +%75 aspen, 2- %50 OCC

Optical coherence correlation spectroscopy (OCCS)
We present a new method called optical coherence correlation spectroscopy (OCCS) using nanoparticles as reporters of kinetic processes at the single particle level. OCCS is a spectral interferometry based method, thus giving simultaneous access to several sampling volumes along the optical axis.
