SOME COMMON FIXED POINTS THEOREMS FOR OCCASIONALLY WEAKLY COMPATIBLE MAPPINGS IN MENGER SPACE

Journal of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, 2022
The fixed point theory as a part of the non-linear analysis is the study of function in metric or non-metric settings. K. Menger in1942 introduced the notion of probabilistic metric space (or statistical space or Menger Space) which is an important generalization of metric space and the study of this space was expanded rapidly with the pioneering work ...

Common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible mappings under relaxed conditions

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2010
The authors establish several common fixed point theorems for two maps and four maps without using the (E.A.) property and completeness, under a relaxed condition on \(d\), without using the the triangle inequality and assuming symmetry only on the set of points of coincidence. An application to dynamical programming is also given.

Common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces and applications

2012
In 2008, Al-Thaga and Shahzad [Generalized I-nonexpansive self-maps and invariant approximations, Acta Math. Sinica 24(5) (2008), 867{876]introduced the notion of occasionally weakly compatible mappings (shortly owcmaps) which is more general than all the commutativity concepts.

Common fixed points theorems for occasionally weakly compatible pairs on cone metric type spaces

2012
We prove some common fixed point theorems of mappings on cone metric-type spaces in which the cone does not need to be normal. These theorems generalize the recent results of Jungck et al. [10] and references therein. The examples are given to illustrate the usability of our results.
